Background:

More than 50 research groups from the Max Planck Institutes of Biochemistry, Neurobiology and Psychiatry as well as the Ludwig Maximilian University and the Technical University Munich participate in the research school. Covering a wide range of scientific disciplines including biochemistry, cell biology, molecular medicine, neurobiology and structural biology these research groups form the basis for the interdisciplinary concept of the research school.
